Humming in My Left Ear — Pulling the Earlobe Helps Me Hear Better

I hear this humming in my left ear. If I pull the earlobe it helps me hear better. ENT says he sees nothing wrong. It is driving me crazy. Anyone know where I should go from here?

My tinnitus is (or was) also a low humming, but nothing stops it.
