I Find This May Aid in My Habituation...

I've experimented with his several times now an it seems to be beneficial in helping me to habituate. Last night I went to a movie. I put my foam earplugs in right away... before the movie trailers began. I heard my ears whistling loudly at me throughout the trailers. Then as the movie began and it caught my attention I found myself listening intently to the movie and not hearing the T. If there was a lull in the movie I could refocus on the T sound. The T sounds so much louder with earplugs in. After the movie ended I removed my earplugs and wasn't able to hear my T for the rest of the evening.
