Gorgeous tat, Glynis, very well done. Does the rose have any significance for you and your dad, or did you choose it because it symbolizes love?

Beautiful poem, Glynis. I too believe that the rose still grows beyond the wall!
What a lovely tribute to your dad -- both the poem and the tattoo.

      Blessings,
      Karen

Shall claim of death cause us to grieve
and make our courage faint and fall?
Nay! Let us hope and faith receive --

That's beautiful, Glynis. I was pretty sure the rose held symbolism for you, and now I see why. Your dad must be so proud of you. :huganimation:

What a beautiful and encouraging poem and what a beautiful gesture, doing that tatoo on your forearm, to make sure that you do not live a day of your life without you father in your mind. Amazing bond that your father could create with his daughter, which would have been impossible if he weren't blessed with some really special qualities, some of which we see passed along to you, whether by genes or by the way he brought you up.
If only there were more roses-like people in this world, this planet would have been such a better place!

I hope you can take some comfort in knowing you were blessed to have had such a wonderful relationship with your dad. There are many who wish they could have had that special bond but didn't. Take good care of yourself at this time Glynis... just as you do for the members here.
