Hello everyone,
After habituating pretty quickly from my initial tinnitus bout (Aug-Sept '17) my tinnitus has flared up again.

I mean it was always there, though often I'd have to really struggle to find the tone. It had stopped bothering me completely to the point where I was able to happily able to spend hours in silence. I almost couldn't believe I'd let it bug me so much.
I' m not freaking out this time because I think I know what's caused it, though it's small comfort. I'm currently in withdrawal from from anti-depressants, which as anyone knows (aside from GPs because they're mostly in denial about it) can be very nasty and protracted. I'm in month 5 of withdrawal from Sertraline, week 5 of Mirtazapine and have just (barely) started to perceive that things might be getting a bit better, for example instead of anxiety 24/7 it's mostly just brainfog, depression and disassociation

Now the tinnitus is back
(it's a well known symptom) and on top of all the other horrible symptoms, it just seems too much right now. It's really intrusive in a way it's not been since I had it.
I don't know what I'm hoping to achieve by posting, I think I just need to vent. I've had to dig out my trusty white noise machine. Does any one know any good white noise apps? The kind that can go on in the background?
Many thanks
V
