Indicative Noise Levels in dB

Hi everyone,

I've got these charts with indicative noise levels in dB. I thought someone might find it useful.
In case you've got some other ones, please, feel free to share.

Most of these charts (and general discussions about decibel levels) have very limited value as the dB numbers aren't paired with a distance (except for one single entry from the last chart). Talking about the noise of a jet taking off being 120 dB without specifying the distance to it is useless, since the sound power decreases with an inverse radius square law.

True. I imagine that the general rule here is arm's length. Of course, a jet taking off or public traffic are very general. Still useful to get a picture of how loud something may be. Another couple of examples are attached to this post.

It is also why i added the word "Indicative" to the title of this thread.
