There is a woman featured that had a botched facelift. The main issue is that she had trouble swallowing and breathing?
But she did at one point show a demonstration on a hearing test website on a high pitch ring and said as soon as she woke up from surgery she had that but insanely louder (and it was ALREADY loud in the computer) and she barely could hear over it. Her main issues with her suffering that she was very depressed over was not the tinnitus. It just goes to show how much we can overcome.
It was very sad. The main part of her suffering was the swallowing. She ended up committing suicide (over the swallowing and breathing problems not the tinnitus).
I have so much empathy for that woman.
