Is It the Sound or the Pain that I'm Hearing?

I'm pretty new to tinnitus, only had it for 2 months now. The sound seems not to bother me as much as it did last month. Don't know if I'm just getting use to the sound or is it getting quite. Its the headaches and sinus problems I'm having along side it.

Last night I woke up in the middle of the night and all of a sudden I could hear the buzzing stop. Also the pain went away, but only for a few seconds. As soon as the pain came back I could hear the buzzing starting again. Woke up later to a really bad haedache and buzzing sound.
