Hi, my pharmacist recommended me Opipramol for my anxiety and my fear about all of my health problems + my depression (who isn't depressed with tinnitus?).

Is Opipramol a safe medication to take?

I need something because my mind constantly switches from thinking about one health or life problem to another to the point where it's getting obsessive and I can't do anything else. It's just constant fear.

From what I have seen, it isn't ototoxic, but I found one person from Poland claiming that it started their tinnitus.

The other medications that I was recommended was Sulpiride + Vortioxetine by my psychiatrist but Sulpiride has nasty side effects involving hormonal changes, weight gain and... man boobs.

There's no history of Sulpiride/Vortioxetine on Tinnitus Talk either.

If you have any alternatives, please share with me.

Did you take the Opipramol? Was it safe? Didn't make your tinnitus worse?
