The primary tinnitus is a hiss.

However, there is this second sound in my left ear which is sporadic.

It will be high pitch for X seconds and than low pitch for Y seconds.

There is no other sounds, just the ringing which does not follow an identifiable pattern.

      Could this be pulsating tinnitus?

Sure enough when I put my head on the pillow a clicking noise was heard.

Further, pulsating tinnitus in beat with my heart was also heard.

New record set for tinnitus symptoms:

      Loud Tinnitus.

      Central Tinnitus.

Pulsating Tinnitus both heart and muscle.

So much for the ENT doctor stating "this will pass". Granted that was before I screwed myself.
