Alright so about a month ago I woke up and had a very loud fluttering in my left ear. It stayed for about 30 seconds. Since then I have not had any fluttering but very frequent popping and weird tingles in my ear.

2 weeks later, this weird thing happened to me. I was just sitting in my room and suddenly my hearing started going down... the only way I can describe it is like blurry vision, but with my hearing. Everything was kind of getting quieter and muffled. Then I had a headache and heard a ringing in my ears. This all lasted about 1 minute, so it was pretty quick.

This happened again a couple days after.

So what should I do? I had gone to my doctor after the fluttering and he said it was probably fine, but now since I've had that ringing and headache... I just don't know. What could this be and what should I do?

What is your concern? You don't have tinnitus now? Have a beer and enjoy the silence!

You had fleeting T and it is gone and perhaps it will come again and perhaps it will not..... If you have T you will know because it is 24/7 and won't come down.

So take a coke and a smile and enjoy the silence......because most of us do not experience that anymore. If I knew what T was I would enjoy silence more ....

Get to your doctor at your earliest convenience, and talk about the new episodes/symptoms.
If I were in your shoes I'd ask for a full check up, blood, imaging (CT/MRI), etc... losing hearing + headache + tinnitus in a repeated fashion is not a good sign. You gotta root cause it.

Good luck.

Hey how are you, are you sure your ears are not full of wax? I have to get ear wax removed every 2 years or so because of narrow ears, and anytime my ears get full i hear pops and ringing, especially in bed, i can hear the wax building up.. literally feels as if a bug was in there moving around. Many people don't realise the wax buildup and get used to their hearing, same with me until i can't hear voices as good, then i know i gotta get them done again. I also have t so i hear ringing but it's louder with loads of wax.
