Is Tinnitus in the Genes?

My dad has it. Didn't know until I developed mine. He is able to hear it pretty much everywhere but it doesn't seem to bother him.

After i had T, i discovered that three other close relatives have mild Tinnitus. Anyone else have relatives with T?

Yes,
3 brothers have T
1 sister has T
My mom has T
All seems for different reasons, (my mom said she was in the recovery room after giving birth to me and the air conditioning set it off). Oh well

You know, I noticed that a lot of older folks don't seem to let it bother them. I think it's because they might just be tougher than us! Lol
