Hi peter, and welcome on TT. I am sorry to hear that you are dealing with Tsiince such a long time. Do you know what caused yours?
It's actually Latin not Greek: tin·ni·tus ˈtinədəs/ noun Medicine noun: tinnitus ringing or buzzing in the ears. Origin mid 19th century: from Latin, from tinnire ‘to ring, tinkle,’ of imitative origin.
Hi peter, sorry for your demotivated status. I know, we all know, what is dealing with this condition. However it's something that can be handled with psychological help. Did you attend any course for relaxation and / or meditation? Or even a cognitive/behavioral psychotherapy? They give you great help to accept the presence of T.

I have tried everything over the years ,including acupuncture and spiritual ,and even moved to the alps in Italy as I was told high altitude is good . At least I can sleep at night . I sometimes worry that when I die ,my tinnitus may come with me . everlasting peace. Not
