Hi, I have tinnitus now for sixteen years and its got no better . I read that the word tinnitus is a Greek word and means. : the absence of joy : and it is so true

I am sorry to hear that you are dealing with Tsiince such a long time. Do you know what caused yours?

It's actually Latin not Greek:

Hi peter, sorry for your demotivated status. I know, we all know, what is dealing with this condition. However it's something that can be handled with psychological help. Did you attend any course for relaxation and / or meditation? Or even a cognitive/behavioral psychotherapy? They give you great help to accept the presence of T.
 
Hi Guys , Mine may have started from an infection that I got while windsurfing . The specialist syringed my ears ,which made them worse . I have tried everything over the years ,including acupuncture and spiritual ,and even moved to the alps in Italy as I was told high altitude is good . At least I can sleep at night . I can honestly say that my T has ruined my life in every sense . I read that Beethoven !art words before he died ,were , ah at least my tinnitus is coming with me !! I sometimes worry that when I die ,my tinnitus may come with me . everlasting peace. Not
