Just Got Hit in the Head with a Turkey Leg

How loud do you think a turkey leg dropping on a plate is? Does it matter if I'm across the room drinking a glass of wine?

Funny....

Tinker Bell Depends on how many glasses you've had.

That is okay I will pass Tinkerbell a q-tip....just in case.

@Michael B happy Thanksgiving back!! Waiting on my house full of company so taking a break after cooking for three days.

I hope @TuxedoCat is having a wonderful day also with her family and the first hosting gig since her tinnitus.

That first one was really difficult but I remember it well.

I made a huge dinner tonight, so happy to share it with my friends and my puppy <3

Hope everyone got drunk, stuffed ;), and passed out due to merriment =D

Whew- My son, his wife and my grandson visited with us for an entire week. They left this morning on a 5AM flight. Since the airport is a 90 minute drive from where we live, we dropped them off at the hotel at the airport last night. I miss them already.

It was the first time meeting my grandson, he's 14 months old and what a bundle of energy! My daughter-in-law is a lovely person and got right at home in my kitchen. She was an immense help. My son and husband did their fair share but were definitely tuned into the food and football games.

Now its time to deal with the leftovers. It will be turkey sandwiches for the next week at least!

All the best, TC

How could you be so stupid?! I bet you weren't even wearing ear plugs when this happened! I hope you learned your lesson about how dangerous turkey feasting is and will refrain in the future! ;)

I have seen countless posters talk about how even taking one alcohol has increased their T. Be more careful in the future and wear ear plugs when drinking for protection! :p

I considered prednisone but opted for another glass of wine instead. The wine was more effective. I've since decided to keep a stock pile of wine, you know for turkey leg dropping on plate emergencies.

@TuxedoCat so glad the hosting went well!! Ours was about the same but with 12 family members who have not been together in two years due to everyone moving out of state. But....our power went out after dinner....faulty telephone pole issues. Argg....it was finally fixed the following morning.
