I was just thinking, the heart is the most important part in the body and they have no problem doing heart transplants on people. They can already remove the inner ear and put cochlear impants in. Why not an inner ear transplant??
Hi bubbyaman ,
They can replace the 3 tiny bones also.
Even though tinnitus is heard in the ears and head it starts in the limbic system where our emotions are also so never likely our emotions can be a roller coaster at first...lol...nice thought though .....lol glynis

hardest operation is the hand ... to intricate, to much detail ... also heart is fairly easy to acces ... open the ribcage and there it is ... ear you will need to crawl through that little peep hole or break some part of the skull and displace the jaw ... I don`t think they will ever try it like this ...
It is said anecdotally that transplant recipients sometimes take on some characteristics of the donor, including memory, habits, likes etc.. With my luck, my cochlea donor would be a One Direction lover.
