A place for us to show what we're all eating on the ketone diet, as to give others an idea of what to eat and make.

Tonight's dinner, soul filets with a salad, sweet potatoes and broccoli. The vegetables were baked.

For dessert I really enjoy a bit of yogurt with berries and whipped cream. Add cinnamon if you want.

I am not sure....Initially, it was louder for a couple of weeks but I think that was because my body was adjusting to it. It has since returned to baseline. I think is about the same as before but it may be a little better. I wasn't really tracking it before I started Keto so that is why I am not sure. Regardless, I feel much better. More even energy throughout the day, I have lost a lot of fat and feel better.

Nice looking kitchen there Mike! As Ecip said, Ketogenic eating pretty much rules out juice because of the sugar content. And since Keto is very low carb and most fruit juice isn't, so it's pretty much a no go at this point. For the types of vitamins you get from fruit juice such as Vitamin C, Keto eaters have to get that from other sources such as greens. I will say I will prob still have a fruit smoothie every so often just not that often ;)

I do love Pizza and intent to make this this week: http://www.ditchthecarbs.com/2015/04/23/fat-head-pizza/

Its really easy to cook good food though, guys; and healthy food. Anyone can make a salad, and anyone can make dressing. 1 part olive oil, 1 part apple cider vinegar (best and healthiest vinegar out there, purchase organic with mother), bit of salt, tea spoon of mustard (or to taste), I also put some basil, parsley, oregano, and then mix, and you got yourself some dressing.

Fish is easy to make... Get some WILD (not farmed) salmon, butter, salt, pepper, basil, oregano, whatever, and 15 to 20 minutes in a hot oven at 190 degrees.

Vegetables are also very easy.. We cook them either in the oven while the fish is cooking or in a pan, covered, with butter or coconut oil, salt, pepper, paprika or whatever you wanna try, splash or three of broth to give it some steam to cook it with and off you go. Don't overcook your veggies. A bit of crunch is quite OK, and more nutritious.

My dishes are not as good as yours. ;) Here's what I just made. Korean Quesadilla. 7 grams net carbs. Made with lo-carb tortilla, 3 different cheeses, Korean crunchy radish kimchi, organic spinach and pickled Daikon radish and little olive oil -- delicious.

First pic is me cooking it, 2nd pic is serving with 1/2 Hass Avocado.

@Ecip I'm on the diet now 100% for some days. I will get so called ketone strips by mail any day soon, then I can track the ketosis state in my body. Maybe it isn't the answer for curing tinnitus, but it gives the body much better conditions for it. Also, if combined with intermitting fasting it could/might actually lower the T as I have understood it. Worth a try. If it doesn't work, then at least you're much more healthy than before :)

Yes, that's true. I can't lie, I've been cheating over the holidays (all the good food and home made desserts... Sigh..) and we still have some left over food to eat, like rice and things like that, but my sugar intake has been reduced dramatically, and once all of that stuff is gone, back to ketosis, mostly.

I also cheated some during the holidays...the lure of strawberry rhubarb pie amongst other seasonal foods made by my mom was too great to pass up. I am back on track this week. The good thing about Keto is that even if you fall of the wagon a bit, you can get back on track again fairly easily and quickly
