- Neck/Jaw misalignment
I've had tinnitus now for 1 year due to a misaligned jaw and neck. About 2 weeks ago I put my repositioning split in and it felt loose.
Well the next day the splint was back to normal somehow, but over the next couple of days I noticed my resting jaw position wasn't normal. It's almost like my mouth has to be open another 1/8 of an inch to feel like its resting. My lips don't touch like there suppose to and you can see my teeth. Also I got some pain in my jaw mandible on both sides.
Also I've noticed for a while now that when I smile I get like a nerve twitching on my face by my lips. Any suggestions? Why all of a sudden is this happening??
I've been reading about botox injections in you're jaw, anyone have this?
The muscle relaxers ain't helping that much. Should I go see a jaw specialist. I don't know what to do next.
Also my tinnitus is worse on my right side and that's where I get jaw clicking when I do my one jaw exercise.
