Hello Friends,
I hope everyone is doing their best today.
I have had tinnitus for many years and I am doing okay with it. I believe it was caused by the antibiotic Cipro.
The reason for my post is that I currently have an infected tooth (ewe, I know). The dentist wants me to take an antibiotic, and she prescribed a Z-Pak. I have not picked it up yet because I know it can be troublesome, to say the least. I was hoping some of you might have suggestions for antibiotics that are less likely to make tinnitus worse.
I looked through similar posts but was a little confused by some of the content. If anyone has suggestions based on their own experience, I would really appreciate it. I know we are not doctors, but I still value any feedback you can share. I will also do my best to contribute now that I have joined the group.
