Is it possible this is the result of an extreme stress response? Instead of chocolate...

That is unreal! Chocolate worsens t? I had no idea. That is a huge price to pay for sure, but to live without t? That would be nice.

Is it specifically chocolate or sugar in general? You might be able to find some dessert alternatives although they'll be nowhere near as tasty.

Nothing else seems likely as another culprit

I'm pretty stress resistant nowadays, so it's probably not that

I don't know if it does for the average T sufferer, but for me it seems to

Carbs have been giving me issues for like the past 6 months, but chocolate seems to be infinitely worse than any other snack.

Like, I can demolish a packet of cookies or something and be pretty much a-ok, but will suffer T badly if I go through a chocolate block. Perhaps there's some kind of compound in chocolate that fucks with my nervous system or something.

Who knows. After a full week of T, I'll definitely avoid choco for life. It's just not worth it for me

My money would still be on stress... You literally said you had a large homework assignment due that you had to spend all weekend working on to get it done. I think this would stress most people out. It's very important to be intune and aware with your stress response. That is farrrr more likely to cause changes in your T than chocolate. Everybody on this forum wants this magical fix, this thing they can say "oh if I just stop that ONE thing, my T will go away". Sorry, that is not how Tinnitus works. If you want to get back to the place you were on the 26th I would highly recommend looking into your stress levels, as that is the largest predictor of your T becoming chronic and becoming a permanent maladaptive response.

Yeah I'd say it's reduced by about 75% by now and getting better by the day. I've been eating really clean since the spike.

Yeah, it's not stress. I could write a big post about why this is the case, but I don't wanna.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH LASER FOR FLOATERS. UNSUCCESSFUL USUALLY.

That's my left eye in the video above, I did both eyes with him though. I'm happy to say that I'm floater free now.

Now I have to get rid of the TINNITUS from a slap to the right ear on 4-7-2019.
