I'm wondering if anyone has a doctor's note that exempts them from working night shift as a result of tinnitus. I'm thinking about asking for one.

The sleep deprivation that comes with a night shift can worsen my tinnitus for days.

I tried but only got a temporary leave from nights. It sucks.

Has your tinnitus faded over the past 6 months?

Was it your doctor or your employer who granted only temporary leave?

@Bill Bauer No it hasn't. It just gets worse during times of sleep deprivation then eventually goes back to baseline but can take several days to do so.
