Hello dear members.

Can someone give any advice how to deal with morse code tinnitus at night.

In my case it is a about 1200 Hz morse beeping and it grabs my attention even if I try to get my mind off it.

I used to deal with loud hissing and ringing tinnitus for nearly 2 years now and somehow learned to cope.

But this morse code shit is driving me nuts.

Can someone share some experiences.

I feel so hopeless after beating this demon for years and now I got a new one. I feel like it is a new level. Masking it is very difficult.

I would be thankful for any advice.

Greetings from Germany.

I had morse code tinnitus a few days ago, came out of nowhere and went away after a while.

At the same time I had some jaw pain, might have been some kind of facial nerve irritation.

Have you noticed any facial or jaw pain lately?

Are typewriter and morse-code tinnitus the same?
What's about pop corn sizzling?
And, - are cicada/crickets sounds something different?

I sometimes get an unrhythmic popcorn-sizzling for hours, which has no frequenzy; maybe nerve discharges?

The similarities between typewriter tinnitus and other cranial nerve syndromes associated with vascular compression (trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm, and glossopharyngeal neuralgia)....

Yes, all of that.
Clenching of teeth and twisting jaw while sleeping. I do that. Doing both is often associated with typewriter or morse code T, but it can be with any type of T.
Sometimes caused by dental trauma and/or hypertension.
Oral facial oromandibular dystonia, dyskinesia.
