Anyone seen this film yet? Hearing and sound are the themes. The creatures use complex ear like organs to map and locate, it reminded me of how a lot of sufferers with sudden unilateral loss have problems with way-finding and crossing the road in traffic etc, it's a nice look at how important sound is for us to perceive our environment.

Warning: there are screeching scenes in the film.

I have heard the movie is very quiet, like moviegoers are getting annoyed by fellow patrons eating popcorn too loud.

If I liked scary movies, I would want to see it in a theater. It'd be nice to see a movie in a theater and not worry about the volume.

I love horror movies and this movie I have been thinking of going to the cinema to watch, because it is supposed to be very quiet.

From what I've read, there is a high pitch sound at the end of the movie. If you're ready with ear protection at the end, it sounds like this could be a good quiet movie to see in a theater.

Yes, I would make sure to have ear protection at hand.

But I don't know if I dare to go, the thought still scares me so.....

The characters communicate with sign language and whispering, so overall it has to be very quiet versus any other movie.

For me, that's the part that makes this a horror movie.

I went to see this film on Saturday night, enjoyed it, a lot. I like your analysis about the film, I never thought of it like that. I preferred the second half of the film more than the 1st but I would recommend the film to anybody who likes thrillers/horrors.
