Musicians Ear Plugs

      2016
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      loud music, headphone use
      I started getting tinnitus 8 months ago last September. I read in an article that the ear can repair itself with a lot of quiet time. So I've been keeping sound out as much as I can. I've been wearing musicians ear plugs 24/7 and it is very slowly but surely working. The rings are slowly becomging hisses that I barely notice. I know I'm on the right track. Steve

      Who knows? I have Patulous ET and ETD + Other things
      Great that its working, keep it up!. some people here have a problem with wearing ear plugs 24/7

      Regarding hyperacusis, I'm sure they can advise.

      Got a link to the ear plugs you are using? Are they vented?

      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Concerts and TMJ and genetics (Mom, Grandpa have it)
      Hey it says on your sidebar that you've had tinnitus since 2016 but you say in the post you've had it since 2016. Could you please clarify. Also how long have you been wearing the earplugs 24/7?
