My Mother Recently Developed Tinnitus Having Suffered from Middle Ear Problems All Her Life

My name is Patrick, I'm from the UK, based on the South East coast. I don't suffer from tinnitus, it is my mother who has recently developed it having suffered from middle ear problems throughout her life. She is 73 and has been suffering for five months.

She has always been fit and well never having any major illness or required any surgery or serious major medical assistant, she doesn't drink or smoke, has a balanced diet and takes care of herself.

She is still under investigation from specialists so a diagnosis of tinnitus hasn't been made conclusive as of yet, but having seen doctors, GP's, medic's and ear, nose and throat specialists they all feel that she is suffering from tinnitus.

We are waiting for her to see an audiologist to get a full and conclusive diagnosis but as she is in such a bad way I want to reach out to this community for help and advice. Thank you.
