I have to head to eternal oblivion land, it's not like I secretly hope any of these new agey beliefs about consciousness collapsing the wave function are true. That's rather childish, ofcourse infinite universes exist side by side and infinite copies of me as well because uh.... science and reason. How silly is it for people to assume their neurons have agency of their own? it's just super computer power giving us the illusion of free will.

I hope the particle equations leading for a cure for tinnitus are found soon, or else we'll be held back due to the 100% predictable nature of the universe. the past, present and future exist as one and this shitpost already existed in space-time 13.8 billion years ago but now you get to see it live.

@Contrast I think the problem is that most of the normies don't give a damn about the consciousness, suffering, death, universe. Their minds are is active defense mode from such subjects. Their minds are occupied by the modern economy, synthetic problems and modern TV & Internet controlled consumerism, restricting their thoughts to whether latest iPhone has 3 or 4 cameras or if the corporate career is right on the track. They live in the their own bubble. And to be honest we were living in that bubble too. In you are in the bubble you don't see and don't want to see anything beyond that bubble.

But I wonder. Are the normies a majority? Or maybe not, they make this impression because us, we keep hiding in our holes, fighting through the day everyday, carrying the burden. We are not loud, we are not showing off, we are invisible. Many don't realize how many of people are homebound, disabled, tormented by many unthinkable diseases. We gain empathy when we start to struggle, but in the same time our potential to make a change is drastically reduced. Too late. This is a damn paradox that steers whole humanity from finding and funding the cures for many nasty things, because the major effort it pushed to create consumer goods, that just make rich even richer.

We don't tell teach kids much about the suffering we try to protect them, but we ultimately fail as they fall in the same trap as we did. Is there a way to change this cursed circle of life, or this is engraved in our nature.

 

Well right before the end, I start thinking about my early childhood and remember this PC game I played when I was five years old about furbies, it came with a bunch of toy furbies mom bought me that I don't have anymore. I lost the CD ages ago but I found a copy on archive.org and I'm playing it now on my virtual computer
