I just got out of the psych ward after spending a week there. They wanted to refer me to a “tinnitus guru” that could offer me TRT. I cracked up laughing and the doctors weren’t impressed lol

 

"Could I refer you to a lobotomy specialist? Our limited data shows it's probably effective"!

It's hard NOT to laugh when they say something that level stupid. Still considering TRT is a defunct "treatment" and we have some limited volume treatments for tinnitus like Desynchra, they should be offering that instead of bullshit obsolete methods.

Sorry you went to the psych ward I hope your tinnitus reduces. Great to have you back

 

My friend was at a psych ward and debated the doctors that anti psychotics were literally "pro depressants" and forced them to admit he was right and that modern medicine is not capable of targeting the exact regions of the brain causing psychosis's so they have to completely reduce dopamine and serotonin. So in order for these people to be part of to society they have to use what medicine and therapy is available regardless of unfavorable side effects.

It's better for someone with an active psychosis to be a vegetable according to them

 

Remember the ATA wants a lobotomy cure for tinnitus instead of working with neuro-plasticity.

 

just do what i do when i got tinnitus and hearing loss, i lost my job, dropped out of classes and panicked uncontrollably and act insane. i may have thrown my future down the drain but atleast i'm not suffering like i was back when i actually cared about reality. but tbh it it wasn't for me actually having documented mental problems since childhood I would not have been able to take the welfare route and would have probably nothing from Uncle sam.

once again many people here got literally living wiht much worse degrees of hearing loss, tinnitus, hyperacusis and TTTS and get $0.00 of social welfare in the United States. i was eligible for SSI all my life due to mild autism and turned it down with pride until now and because of that their are actual people trying to take it away from me due to cognitive test I took before I had tinnitus and skepticism of me having borderline personality disorder due to it being rare in males.

I'd get off SSI the next day if their was a treatment for sensori-neural hearing loss. I'd love to have my life back but i'm not gonna compromise when all my favorite things are ruined. Too be help ful to the tax payer i am going to commit suicide in about 5 years if a cochlear theraputic isn't atleast close

Nah I'd discourage it in all cases. If you must do that, do CBT, which isn't directly competing with tinnitus research.

If we keep giving TRT demand then there will still be supply. That's why it's 2018 and this awful therapy is still somewhat relevant.

 

Google Chrome/Chromium does not allow a gif to refresh on ctrl R with my preloader, it retards my website's core concept of having animated gifs on a timer horribly.

Web browsers back in 2005 could do this with no problem, 2018 Google Chrome can't even play an animated gif correctly. Think about that. Technology goes backwards.

ever since Firefox quantum got addon updates nobody has any excuse to use Google Chrome other then being a sheep for Google.

2018 web browser can't do something a 2004 web browser could do.
synch an animated gif on refreshment. holy cow Google is retarded and hates the concept of having animated gifs on an interactive webpage. Firefox and Mozilla esque browsers gives me no problem

The only reason Google Chrome is popular is because it has Google's name in it.
it was always a resource hog of a web browser that Google uses to spy on it's client.

Chromium esque browsers still have like 90% of the market share even after Firefox Quantum debutted. WTF? please kill me
