The past couple days, my tinnitus has been very low, especially today. In fact, my left ear was almost completely silent today!

Just 4 days ago, it was quite high (for my norm), and today, it's barely there.

I definitely think stress makes this thing worse, and for those of you who are very stressed, I would recommend you find something that makes you happy and calms you down. Music and video games really works for me.

I just hope it stays like this this week with all my tests in school.

That's great news! Be very happy that it is quiet and not bad. I will say this much, stress is a HUGE culprit for tinnitus and can make it much worst. When It comes to music and video games for me, they are at VERY low volumes and I have reduced the bass to level zero. I still enjoy music and video games too, but at very low low volumes. Tinnitus hasn't taken my passion away, it has just adjusted my passions a bit :)

Keep protecting your ears young man.....

Excellent to hear! I also use music and video games as a good distraction.. no head phones just speakers. Sometimes when my T is low I feel so relaxed.. then I don't sleep because I want it to last forever haha!

same here, I've been attempting DIY gene therapy using curcumin and the last two days for me have been low T, and I suspect the anti-oxidative affects of curcumin. I woke up at 3 am last night and was amazed how it seemed to be totally gone. I did have the window open and crickets were chirping but I did feel "normal" again.

Cool, I'm going to give this a try. From what I've read it sounds like we got pretty similar sounds going on

Yeah. May work, may not. I'm not betting the house on it though.

Yea I know. All we can do is try! I don't even give a hoot about my other tones. Just want chirping birds to go away haha

My tinnitus was more manageable when I worked out more, particularly running. Hoping that increasing the miles will have a positive affect.

I'm hoping someone has a eureka moment and figures out how to make this shit go away permanently.

It’s back to normal now, but some of my tones just vanished. Just a high pitched whine for now.

If you keep away from loud sounds/music and never use "headphones" again, even at low volume, then it is likely your tinnitus will reduce to a very low level in time.
You are in the early stages of tinnitus. Since it was originally caused by concert/loud sounds. If you choose not to follow my advice, you risk your tinnitus becoming louder and more intrusive. You may find the posts in the links below helpful.

      I wish you well.
      Michael

@Nathan Mine also varies a lot...as do many peoples. I would just be thankful that you can at least experience some rest from it. Try not to think about it too much and keep busy...it loves attention i.e. it loves you to stress about it
As advised by @Michael Leigh I would avoid loud music and ear / headphones. You will get buy ! I only listen to music via speaker on low volume and use my phone on speaker.
Hope today is better in the Cornfields of Indiana T friend !

Yeah, back to normal, so a 2-3. It’s often a 1 when I first get up, then gets higher after a shower. Plus, I’m really anxious, so it goes up easily even without noise.

I have a high pitched dentist drill
      Subway screeching sound
A eeee sound in the middle of my head
      morse code/crickets in right ear.

You are lucky to see improvement. I have permanent H and T now.

Right now mine is just a fridge humming. Even a few precious minutes of silence/near silence early in the morning sometimes. Normally, it’s head noise plus electrical zaps/wires. When I’m stressed, it’s high pitched head screeching, which I can physically feel and is the most intrusive.

I’ve had the dentist drill before, it stinks. I can sometimes hear Morse code if I plug my ears. I also have a reactive droning, high pitched warble sometimes , which can make it hard to sleep.
