I believe there are certain Meyers-Briggs personalities that are, in general, going to have a more difficult time with tinnitus perhaps. I think the Extroverted ones will be better at dealing with it than the introverted ones, and the Judging ones will be better than the perceiving ones.
Perceiving means you organize your world and make choices based on how you feel in the moment about it; I believe this is bad for T. Also those who are Introverts live inside themselves more, this is also bad for T coping. And those who are both Introverts and Perceivers are potentially in a world of hurt.
So all the I__P's; I am an INTP for example.
8 of the 16 personalities are introverts, 8 of the 16 personalities are perceivers, 4 of the 16 are introverted perceivers. But I suppose there are plenty of exceptions and other things to consider in the building of one's psyche.
