It's been nearly 3 years since my tinnitus started!! There didn't seam to be any reason for it other than I had a wisdom tooth playing up. Which I was told to have out.

Over the past couple of years I've been under ENT who have done nothing apart from advise valsalva movement (my ears don't pop) nasal spray and steam!!

The T has got worse recently very loud and really struggle to sleep!!

I have noticed my lip seems out of line?

After looking on here I'm convinced it is TMJ/D.

I have an ENT appt tomorrow so am going to push for an x-ray and see what they say from there.

Rather than an ENT, have you seen an oral maxillofacial specialist? They diagnosis and work with TMJ and other jaw disorders and would be more knowledgable concerning a possible mouth splint.

Had my ENT appointment today. I had another hearing test but is always ok as is the pressure test. It's just the blocked/full feeling and T I mentioned about TMJ doctor said straight away this could be the problem and is going to refer me to a maxillfacial specialist hopefully won't be too long waiting. I feel like this could be the start of finally getting my ear back to normal
