Neosensory — Bimodal Stimulation Device for Tinnitus: Any Reviews? A Scam or Not?

Seems like no one gives news anymore...
I'm on week 5. I had a positive effect first 4 weeks but I've been having a spike the past week. Nothing crazy - mainly fullness. It's possible it's made my main tone pitch slightly higher. I will follow up again after 8 weeks is complete.

Any updates from anyone?
I returned mine exactly at the 4 week window because it didn't feel like it was helping in a cumulative way as I've mentioned before. But, now I regret returning it and might rent it again. I really liked having it there for tough tinnitus days, as it softened the sound a bit.

Alright, checking in.

I've been trying to use the Neosensory Buzz at least 3 times a day for 10 minutes. Sometimes I go longer than 10 minutes, up to 30. Some days, especially on the weekend, I have trouble getting the multiple uses in, but always do at least a single 10 minute session.

Is it helping? Hmmm... I really don't know. I think it might be, but it's so minimal that it might not be noticeable. I'm going to keep trying it multiple times a day, but if it is going to work at all, I think it will take time. I'm not sure I want to empty my pockets trying this for several months, especially when there are other things I also want to try.

I ordered mine two days ago. For those of you here who have ordered the Buzz, how long did it take for you to receive it in the mail?

Kind of. I unfortunately cannot enjoy it with my tinnitus being so severe now, it's ruined my quality of life. Moved here to be with family while I'm in medical leave.
I'm sorry. That's really a bummer. I can understand though as it is beautiful where I live, bu I don't get to enjoy it much anymore.

Update about Neosensory Buzz.

I think it has really taken the edge off. A few weeks ago I had a lot of crazy electrical hiss that wavered up and down, kind of like switching radio stations. I don't seem to have that anymore. Knock on wood... now watch it come back now that I've expressed it. My tinnitus is back to being quieter in the morning, though I have a high pitch ring that follows me around all day. It's not the same as the lower 4 kHz ring that I was graciously gifted by the audiologist, but they are both in the left ear. Still have the static in my right ear. Nothing seems to affect that one at all, but it's easy to ignore.

So I would say this seems to take the edge off, but it's not going to magically bring the volume of everything down. I have also been doing it in 30 minute sessions rather than the 10 they suggest. I feel that has more effect.

If you have any hyperacusis at all, you will not be able to handle the high tones you need to listen to.

The buzz is really useful if you have a roommate you hate and want to torture =)

I'd like to keep this and keep using over many months to see what happens, but I feel it is way overpriced for what you get. I'd keep it if it was only a one time payment of $250, just to see if it doesn't have a more profound effect over longer use.

Now there's always the possibility my tinnitus was going to mellow just a little bit on its own, so your mileage may vary.

So I didn't finish the full 60 days. I stopped at about 35 days due to a spike and fullness in right ear. I don't believe it's related but I think I'll keep it (pay the full $1,000) to have the chance to try again in the future as it seemed to help initially. We'd all pay anything for a little reprieve right?

Will report back when I pick it up and give it another shot.

Just got mine today! Looking forward to using the device, and I will report back here if I notice any improvements. My plan is the use the bracelet for at least 20-30 minutes per day.

I'm surprised at how much sound the wristband is able to pick up. As far as how the vibration patterns feel, it's similar to the vibrations of a video game controller. It seems like a nifty wristband, but I can't say that I'm overly impressed by it. Obviously, if it provides me relief for my tinnitus, that will be a different story...

Well I've fallen off using mine the past week. Been busy with work and not sleeping much and just kept forgetting. I've even been forgetting to take my asthma inhaler, that's how distracted I've been. I only have a few days left and I have concluded that it's not worth the cost. Maybe it would do something positive in 3+ months, but I do not want to spend the money to find out.

I am new to Tinnitus Talk forum. I have used the Neosensory Buzz device but it did not reduce the ringing in my ears at all. After 25 days I returned it and they refunded my $249. Plus tax.

I have an option to import Neosensory from USA to Europe through my family living in USA.

Did anyone from here benefit enough to justify the cost and effort to bring it from USA to Europe?

It didn't seem like it did much during my use, but I'd like to try it again since I've been worse since discontinuing. However, there have been circumstances that could have worsened my tinnitus besides discontinuing the Buzz as well. Still would like to try it again and verify.

Reporting in. After about 4 weeks of using this device, it's really hard to say if I've noticed any improvements to my tinnitus. The last few weeks were actually pretty good and I felt that my tinnitus was under control (hence my inactivity on this forum). However, the last few days have been pretty bad and as of right now, I feel like I haven't benefitted at all.

I am going to use the device for another 4 weeks to see how things go, but as of right now, I am planning on returning it.

How often are you using it and for how long? I was doing 20-30 minutes, 3 times a day.

Usually 15-20 minutes - 1 session per day.

I'm going to try and do longer and more sessions over the next few weeks.
Yes try doing it more often and let us know if it makes any difference. Once I gain employment again I think I'm going to buy this thing. It's cheaper than Lenire at least, and seems less dangerous.
