I remember that everyone in the forums had utterly given up on this. The results point to some improvement which may warrant further studies. Who knows.

 

Another drug (probably) bites the dust....

From their website, Merz notes it is no longer actively involved in Neramexane, but is still functioning in a supportive role. I believe this pertains to a "clinical study" with a drug partner in Japan:

From their annual report, 2012, Merz wrote their phrase III clinical trial failed to demonstrate significant amelioration of tinnitus symptoms, i.e., the drug did not meet standards necessary for approval.
