Hi,

thanks for the acceptance to group, this is all new to me.

I have been to the specialist who confirmed tinnitus, now I read about masking but not sure what this is and how to go about it any help would be great, my noise is constant high pitched buzzing really is the best way to describe this.

Do you have an iPhone or android phone? Search the app stores for tinnitus and lots will come up as your starting point for masking.

People usually listen to some kind of white noise/therapeutic noise to comfort the ringing they are experiencing.
