Hey guys, my name is Luis I am from Los Angeles California. New to posting but have been lurking since last week. I'm here because on 2/5 I noticed a constant ringing in my left ear after taking off my earbuds at night after listening to music full blast (stupid I know). I have been doing this for quite a while, maybe since I was in 11th grade, I am now 27. I have gotten tinnitus before but it usually go away after an hour, I frequent raves a lot so that's usually when I notice it. Other than that I've never really had issues with my hearing. Now I didn't think much of the tinnitus the day I got it or noticed it, but now it hasn't gone away. It's not extremely bothersome, I think I can still sleep, I don't noticed unless I pay attention, it is a very high pitch hissing/ringing. I also got sick the day I noticed it, I had a sore throat, nose and chest congestion so I'm hoping once everything clears up it'll go away.
I'm not feeling down or anything, I think I can cure it by letting my ears heal and making some lifestyle changes. I started taking a multivitamin, b12, and magnesium and I saw a video by some guy named Liam Boehm from Australia who cured his noise induced tinnitus. According to him the hair cells are very hard to damage and people recover according to their health.
Do you guys suggest any other things to help heal?
Sorry for my grammar English is my second language.
