Noise induced
Hi everyone who is suffering from tinnitus like I do. I have been following Tinnitus Talk since I got tinnitus and it has been a good support resource along the way. And today I just wanted share my story of having tinnitus and how I am dealing with it.

My tinnitus was noise induced from clubbing. It was a cold night in October 2019 when me and my friend decided to go to the club. Later I realized that it was the biggest mistake. We stayed in one club for awhile and then went to another. When we ended the night, the tinnitus was the at its highest pitch. I have had tinnitus before after exposure to loud noise but this was different. I wasn't able to hear what my friend was saying right next to me in the car. But I believed it will be gone next morning. I came home slept and next day, boom. It was there mostly in my right ear with high level hissing.

A week passed and nothing changed, that's when my story begins with doctors. I got an appointment with ENT and told him about my tinnitus. The hearing test was all good! He said he has never seen someone having permanent tinnitus at my age. He prescribed me steroids and sent me home.

Year goes by and it's still there. It drives me crazy, no sleep, anxiety and all that. I have had tinnitus for more than a year now and I went to so many doctors before I realized there is no cure. I tried Ginkgo Biloba for 4 months, NAC, Lipo-Flavonoids. Nothing seemed to help.

From now on I just hope to wake up one day and it's gone! First 6 months it was mostly hissing in the right ear and now it's buzzing in both ears.

This is my story with tinnitus. I wanted to keep it short because we all have it and we know what it is like.

I just hope that everyone will have silence again!
