Many tinnitus sufferers report a deterioration after exposure to noise. How long does it take to get worse?

I don't know about spike, but my tinnitus onset was a couple days after my acoustic trauma. I knew something was very off with my hearing, but it wasn't till a few days later that I woke up with this loud tinnitus that has been with me ever since.

I believe it was three days for me, but I had some noise sensitivity before that and I knew there was something wrong with my hearing.

I got a "full ear" sensation right away. I also had symptoms of TTTS...
