In addition to your normal tinnitus sound, do you also hear the sound of cicadas or chirping birds?

Yeppers. Though like the pull asks Yes, periodically (from time to time) In fact, I get a whole slew of noises that come and go as they please.

To me, my tinnitus sounds like a cross between high pitched cicadas and a tea kettle.

I got the chirping cicadas but with some higher pitch overtones. If I didn't have it I would not even be remotely bothered by T

Mine is a low whistle sound and then this ridiculous high pitch electronic type sounds, that's the really bothersome one.

Yup, cicadas or crickets in my left ear. Though it doesn't bother me since I feel like it's a sound I'm familiar with. The random truck backing up beeping in my right ear on the other hand...

When mine started, I described it as "soprano crickets on steroids." I'm sorry I couldn't click more of the buttons on the poll. Some days it' has been constant, but once it went away for the better part of a year...

While yawning and similar acts, quite pleasant. Hearing that model airplane engine noise is most alarming, seems more like hearing being damaged and not tinnitus.

It doesn't really sound like cicadas, but the sound of cicadas blocks what i do have quite nicely.
