I'm just curious to know if there are certain times when it's harder for people to deal with such as late at night, early in the morning, mid-afternoon, etc. or if it doesn't matter.

Whenever I wake up, whether in the morning or in the afternoon after taking a nap. The shorter amount of sleep I get at any given time, the louder the tinnitus when I wake up. Five minutes is about the worst.

I used to be a super morning person but now I'm like you and have to sleep a lot.

Evenings, because that's when it's most noticeable. I have aged rapidly in the 3 months since I've had tinnitus from lack of sleep.

Don't know if you've seen me mention it, but getting a home mHBOT unit was absolutely miraculous for my sleep.

I saw! Thanks for the reminder. I may look into getting one. How are you getting on with that?

I have also noticed that I seem to be aging rapidly from stress.

Mine seems to get worse as the day goes on. Usually peaks at bedtime. Thankfully, learned to put the earplugs in at bedtime, which quiets it down, and after a good nights sleep the T is low, and we start again. Wish I could stay in bed longer with the earplugs in as that is the quietest time of the day for me, and at times it can go down to a minimal volume.

Usually can’t hear it at all in the morning. Bothers me in the evening when I want to relax
