I have unilateral tinnitus on the left, which can be strongly affected by moving structures of the face (somatic tinnitus). A lateral shift of the lower jaw to the right with the hand strongly intensifies the tinnitus.

A lateral shift of the lower jaw to the left also produces a - clearly quieter - sound in the otherwise tinnitus-free right ear.

Does the lateral shift of the lower jaw (by hand) also produce a sound in your ear?

      Greetings from Germany.
