Prayer Requests — Tinnitus Is Tough

I need your prayers right now if anyone is willing to offer, thanks.

 

I just pray for you. Take it easy Blair. There are better days ahead. A few years back, I prayed every night for guidance to relieve my suffering. I felt prompted to not fear the mad ringing but to learn to live my life in grace, that it would take time to adjust to my new life and so it did.

I also questioned why I had to suffer so much with severe tinnitus & hyperacusis as well as anxiety and panic attacks. In searching for the divine wisdom, I realized that my suffering was not any where as bad as Job. Apostle Paul even wrote in Romans 5:1-5 about why we have sufferings in life and what we should do in face of sufferings. This is the promise after we endure the sufferings James 1:2-4

Sorry to hear, prayers back to you. Hyperacusis seems to be bad too, back to the pink noise been in crisis to make matters worse, exhausted, looking forward to sleep in an hour.

If you guys could pray for me too I’d appreciate it so much. I’m getting induced tomorrow and so scared the sudden shift in hormones from induction and delivering and stress is going to make my tinnitus worse. It’s already worsened this pregnancy so I’m nervous. I had a sudden 15 dB loss in one tone in my right ear along with 3 new tones in that ear that fluctuate. I used to only have tinnitus in my left ear and it was a static sound.

 

Hey Christians, will you please pray for me today? I have been feeling terrible lately, something is physically wrong with me and I'm not sure exactly what but I got a testosterone shot today in the hopes that it will boost my mood and help me feel better. Please pray it does not increase tinnitus for me.

Thanks so much. I figured I would give you an update. I'm doing better than I have in a very, very long time. My vision has improved - the colors I see are much more vivid, my sense of taste and smell have improved, my sense of touch has improved-I can feel individual hairs on my face better. My digestion has improved, my energy has improved, my legs are lighter, I am sleeping better, I am able to wake up earlier and easier without feeling bad, my mood has improved, my brain fog is low or nonexistent, and my mind is sharper. Tinnitus has not been bothersome. Thanks so much for the prayers.

I don't know what to do anymore. I'm getting worse and every day is a struggle.

 

I pretty much lost my faith because of tinnitus.

It first started after a few hours of lawnmowing (with a grass-cutter) and chainsaw work. I just wanted to help my rather and didn't know about tinnitus, so I wasn't wearing any hearing protection. My earphones were typically set up at 70%, so not hurt-your-ears loud.

So let me get this straight. Because I wanted to help my father, I ended up with tinnitus and dysacusis, lost my musical hobbies, and will likely suffer until I die, while there are some heavy-metal musicians singing blasphemous lyrics and playing 3 shows per week who are perfectly fine. Where is God in that?

 

I am praying for you hurtingdream and sending you thoughts of sunshine and healing. There will be better days for us ahead stay positive stay strong and stay connected to this group who understands and cares

 

Let me get this straight...

God creates and gives you tinnitus and now you want to pray to God to ease it?

Further illustrates the complete bullshit that is religion!
