Pulsating Tinnitus

I have had tinnitus since 2008, gradually increasing in volume to severe pulsating at present. Left A#7 & Right A7.

The cause was from Dental Handpiece's (air driven turbines). You see I had been using, testing and repairing them since the Seventies. I also have hearing loss. Finding ways to cope, mask, and adjust to tinnitus makes it easier to live with.

There are so many wonderful things we have today, at our fingertips, that can help. I believe this forum is one of them.

Because my tinnitus frequency is so high, I have chosen specific songs to sing in my head to the beat of my heart, as I go about my day. Soon I am not aware. I believe there is truth in what people say about " Don't dwell on it, and you won't notice it." The hardship for me sometimes is sleeping.

Sometimes I take meds and other times I listen to Music. Apple has background music for slide showing of selected photos you have taken with your phone. Under slideshow options you select music, then one of five recordings. My favorite is "Dissolve". The songs are looped so they are continuous.
