Random Ear Pain (Throat?)

I have tinnitus (mild/moderate) and a slight form of hyperacusis ( sounds are louder). But I also have this annoying ear pain. It is pretty random, somtimes I already have it when I wake up. But the weird thing is that it reduces for a couple of minutes when I drink something hot or very cold. Do you have any idea of what this could be?
