Relief from Methylphenidate

I am new here, have had tinnitus for many years and have had no relief, it seems, except from my methylphenidate. My new doctor recently lowered my prescription and now it's coming back louder than ever, constantly buzzing without a break. My question is, has anyone had any other similar relief from methylphenidate? I was taking 2, 20mg tabs 3x a day and now just down to twice a day.

If there is no response to your question due to not a lot of readership in the Introduction, you can search the forum on Ritalin which seems to be the same as methylphenidate as explained by wikipedia.com
