Couldn’t someone have suggested he try Prednisone?

 

I highly suggest this @Travis Henry. I have a stack of nootropics that feels even better than the antidepressants that I was on before. Not sure how sustainable it is but it really was a big turning point for me.

This one has been the best for me so far. Not sure how sustainable it is but it's currently being researched for a huge amount of mental illnesses so still kind of risky but better than suicide of course.

My tinnitus and pain in my ear is still just as bad but since my mood is so much better, I've been able to make vast strides in my life which I wasn't capable of doing before.

If you do get the 4’-DMA-7,8-DHF, just make sure to take it first thing in the morning or else it will keep you awake at night.

 

Many people that have severe debilitating diseases can get some relief from their pain and distress with the help of medication. Unfortunately, this isn't quite the same for someone with severe debilitating tinnitus. The only treatments are: antidepressants, benzodiazepines, sound therapy and counselling which may not necessarily stop the tinnitus noise.

You do not understand what I and members on this thread are trying to convey to you. The mental anguish tinnitus can inflict on a person when it's severe and sustained can be so overwhelming, they might want to consider their early demise.

Steroids don’t do much for tinnitus other than temp relief at best.
