Some Background Sounds in House Seem Louder?

I have different tones/types of tinnitus, but some days (when it's spiking, I guess?) certain sounds in my house seem louder. For instance, my refrigerator. It makes a faint tone when it's running. But on certain days it seems really loud (just to me, not anyone else in my house.)

Based on what I've read about hyperacusis, I don't think I have that. Yet, with my tinnitus it does seem like I'm hearing sounds with more sensitivity than before. My doctor even thinks that my fluttery, morse code tones are actually my ear hearing functions inside my body (breathing or heartbeat or something.) I've read that some researchers even think that tinnitus can be the sound of neuronal activity in the brain.

Anyway, can sounds seem louder sometimes when you have eustachian tube dysfunction? (Which is what doctors have told me I have.)
