Specialist Recommendation Near Washington, DC / MD

I'm in the MD / suburban DC area, and I'm hoping to find a specialist that would help me rule out any ongoing physical causes of my tinnitus and related hearing issues. If you know of someone who is knowledgeable about things that cause or exacerbate hearing issues (tinnitus, especially "reactive" or "kindling" T, hearing loss, hyperacusis, etc.), and who would be determined to find or rule out root causes, please post a recommendation. I would be forever grateful!

I want to stress I'm not knocking or ruling out habituation, masking, or coping therapies in any way. I know that in all likelihood that's the only and therefore best course for me and for most people who suffer (and I've been managing with mostly success with this for over 20 years). I just occasionally hear stories of people who find out their issues were caused by various things that never occurred to them ("Turns out there was pressure on my auditory nerve -- who knew!" or "Turns out I had an allergy -- who knew!"). I'm at the point where I want to find a specialist who can help me rule out all those "who knew" scenarios.

Although I've had this for awhile, I just discovered this wonderful forum a few days ago. I'm excited about finding other folks who share similar symptoms, and will soon post more about them and hope to share ideas with you all about what's been helpful.

Right now I'm really hoping to find a specialist for this "ruling out" phase. Anyone have a suggestion or recommendation?
