I'm in big trouble. Just got back from one of my social meetup groups which I enjoyed and my T is loudest it's ever been back indoors. I'm hyperventilating and really frightened again. All my dreams and goals are going away and I'm nearly in tears. It's getting worse after all my efforts.

Please tell me I don't have to start habituating from scratch again after over a year. Is this going to spike every time I'm out now?

The first thing that comes up in the "Similar Threads" section (bottom of the page) is one of your posts - Terror, Spike, Panic. Maybe you need to read your own previous thread again, just to put things in perspective.

Also, I'm no expert but hyperventilating and having all these negative emotions... looks like a panic attack. Maybe you should mention it to your doc?

You're right. I've written this before haven't I? Well spotted plus the spike has receded again now. God what a way to live.

Bye the way, my doc knows all about me. The whole village surgery knows about me. I've been bugging them for years with my phobias, obsessions, panics and hangups. But they are great.

Seems like you're in good hands. Hope you get more spikes of silence soon :)

I am having the worst T days by far these last 2 weeks. A spike started out of nowhere and it's as loud as ever, can't cover it up with masking like before. Don't know what happened, but I was somewhat hanging on until now, last breakdown I had was in June, but now it's like that plus a lot worse.

I had a hot chocolate today. I haven't touched coffee, tea or chocolate for months so I don't know if chocolate can spike T. I've heard it can.

I'm sorry LeQuack that you are spiking badly. I do hope it recedes again soon.

Thanks Glynis for your ongoing support.

I love chocolate. Its my sin. Sometimes you just have to treat yourself.

Hello, remember chocolate, sugar and for me salt are spike enhancers. Salt tears me apart, I feel awful. Another thing eat a banana if salt has made its way into your bloodstream. Potassium knocks down the sodium. I ate a deli sandwich and it kicked my ass, how soon I forget.
