Do spikes always go back down to baseline?
If it seems like a spike, but the sound stays, is that considered a change to your baseline?
I get new sounds that suddenly appear, so I'm wondering if they're "spikes" or not. Some go away, but return occasionally, and some sounds just stay.

If you have not had tinnitus long it is common to get spikes while your tinnitus is trying to find its base sound.
Most spikes settle down if have had a reason to spike like a virus or loud sound.
Time is a great healer and also over time you might see a pattern to your tinnitus.... lots of love glynis
