Developed sudden deafening tinnitus that was debilitating and kept me awake for a month until finally prescribed heavy sleeping meds. Louder than any noise possible, but is quieting down now. Followed by facial rash, sore throat, trouble swallowing, and now moving to the other ear (now that it is quiet enough to distinguish!). It comes out at night much worse (it is not because it is quieter....it is because it gets much louder, no doubt!). Any thoughts?

If you have not i would go to the ER immediatley. And see and ent, and whatever else you have to do to get answers. That sounds serious. Best Wishes.

Go to ER fast as cullenbohannon suggested. Also is possible book an appointment with a private ENT / audiologist. They are often more helpful and the waiting lines are shorter.
