Sudden Pressure and Brief Ringing in One Ear

I have had ringing in my left ear since March 2015. I went to the ENT in April 2015. The doc checked my ears and didn't see anything wrong. He put me on a Prednisone 6 day pack and gave me some Lipo-Flavonoid Plus tablets to take. Recently I have had a sensation of sudden pressure/fullness in one ear followed by a brief 15-20 seconds of loud ringing. It is not the same ear each time it happens. When the pressure/fullness occurs I have instant dizziness that lasts for about 1-2 seconds before the ringing starts. Any ideas?

Sounds to me like a phenomenon known as "fleeting tinnitus." To the best of my knowledge, it has no clinical significance whatsoever.
