My issue started 3 months ago. Suddenly tinnitus in left ear.
What followed was a lot of drainage, post nasal drip down my throat. Pressure in my ears would coincide with this as well as intensity of the tinnitus (mainly left ear), and hyperacusis in both ears.
Seen my PCP and have had 2 visits with an ENT, who confirmed it's not a bacterial infection. Maybe viral and possibly ETD.
Still dealing with this. I fortunately have been able to sleep. I feel my best at the start of the day, things ramp up towards the end of the day. Often have discomfort in ears, heat seems to help it feel better.
In the beginning the drainage was really intense, felt like I constantly needed to swallow, lump in throat, it's at this time that my ears are in the most distress i.e. pressure, tinnitus etc.
Just seeing if anyone else has experienced these symptoms.
